Womens Walking Group

Ten walked 5 km exploring Cowichan Bay. Eleven for lunch at the Rock Cod Cafe with Joyce joining us. A beautiful fall day and an interesting walk with lively conversation and good exercise. On the way we found some abandoned bridges which were likely built by fishermen many years ago. Next was the mini park with a walking trail and play areas for children. A ramp is also in this area as it is the access to the Cowichan Marine Trail. If anyone has a kayak or a canoe they may be interested in following this trail. Information at bcmarinetrails.org  A thank you to our drivers. Next monday the 13th we walk Mill Bay along the waterfront to the ferry. Meet at the Legion at 9:30 am. VM
May everyone have a Happy Thanksgiving.
