John Bourquin - First and Best in Division.

The Mid-Island Woodcarving show was held at Bowen Park in Nanaimo on Saturday, Nov. 3rd.   Our YSAG Woodcarvers did very well as you can see from the photos below.  Congratulations to all.  Apparently there were 66 carvers and almost 200 carvings in the show plus some painted artwork and pottery.  It was very well done.

Our wood carvers made their presence known at the Pacific Brant Carving and Art Show held in Sidney.  Four carvings from three members; Ron Hillen, Denis Lainchbury and Alice Wiebe were displayed as shown.
