With both Dennis and Denis absent we found ourselves walking in the wilds on trails west of the Shawnigan Lake Provincial Park. So we did not have the sure guidence of our leader and no GPS navigator to tell us where we had been. We did enjoy the nice walk in sunshine along soft mossy paths though and we did have to cross some roaring creeks filled with water from the melting snow.
