We are talking photography at our next meeting. We will also
touch on computer concerns as you will see further down in this
notice
1) Photography: Since we did not get
to our planned agenda last meeting lets have a look at the Cambridge in Colour

2) Photography course offered at the
Shawnigan Lake Community Centre. Cim MacDonald is doing a local session again
this Fall. Cim lives in Chemanius is a member of our CVCC camera club and is an
award winning photographer. If you can afford the fee and have the time, this is
a great opportunity to learn photography from a pro.

3) Computers: Just so you know - Mike
and I had the first Beginning Computers Class last Wednesday 10 to 12 am. We had
3 students and although the meeting was a little bit disjointed(aren't they all)
we deemed it a very good start. We may have 2 more students joining next
Wednesday. I would like to extend an invitation to any one of you to come as a
student or instructor. The aim is to keep this a Basic
Computing class.
4) Computers: I picked up a complete
working Mac today. It's a sweet little machine and I'll bring it in
Wednesday.
