Thirteen of us got together today and did about a 6 Km walk to the Quarry via Ingot Road. A sprinkle on the way up to the Legion but no rain and it actually got quite warm. Map and photos below. -- DeNNis.

| Parked the cars near the entrance to Burnham Park (right) and did a clockwise loop via Silvermine Rd, Coleman Rd and Ingot Rd. Then down various trails to the Quarry -- finishing with a well deserved beverage at Shawnigan Coffee House where we were joined by Jim Becker. |

| Of course we first had to see what was happening with the logging operation at the Legion. |

| Starting up Silvermine Rd we came across this unique green house design. |

| Spotted a big cat on Ingot Rd. |
