Men's Walking Group

Another interesting 9Km walk around Cobble Hill followed by a great lunch held for seniors at the Cobble Hill Hall.

Another good walking day today.  No rain -- No pain  -- Good company.  A nice stroll through the Cobble Hill neighborhood, which we haven't done for a while, and a chance to touch base with our horse friends and the llamas who played a little shy.  And the grande finale was a delicious lunch.

The map pretty much shows it all, except we did a few loops here and there.  We parked by the "off-leash" dog park and did a kind-of  clockwise loop (with a couple extra loops), ending up at the "Farmers Institute Hall" where we were served an excellent lunch including coffee, tea and dessert.

Started off from the dog and bike parks.

Had to stop and visit the horses.

And the Llamas who were hiding under the trees in the dark.

Gallier Park Entrance.

From down the street this tree
looks a little tipsy.

The kind of "Snowdrops" we like to see.

These greenhouses suffered the wrath of our winter storms.

The Geodesic climbing dome at Ecole Cobble
Hill Elementary.

And a fishy fence.

Tree growing from a nurturing stump.

Always have to check this fence out - mostly still standing.

15X Zoom from the middle of an intersection.

This "gear-head" was more lifesize.

And some zoom to capture this
gas pump.

Cobble Hill Cenotaph looking good.

Lots of artsy folks in the neighbourhood.

What a way to finish the day!!
