Womens Walking Group

Another gorgeous sunny morning for nine walkers who did 5 K on the Trans Canada Trail beginning at Rebecca Road. It was surprising to see the amount of water in some huge ponds, fast flowing creeks, and mini waterfalls. The amount and size of moss covered rocks was most interesting and colourful. As always, stops along the trail to chat to people we meet and pat the many dogs taking their owners for a walk. One lady walking five dogs at once. Our thanks to Claudia, Lila, and Ann for driving. Thank you Shirley for baked goodies, coffee, and TEA. Next Monday April 7th we will walk the Trans Canada Trail in Duncan starting at Sahtlam Road. After the walk we will have our lunch at the Mongolian Grill. There is a change of time for this walk. We are meeting at the Legion one half hour earlier, at 9:30 am.     V.M.
