Women's Walking Group

Seven walkers noticed changes in Chemainus and in Echo Hights. We had a pleasant, leisurely walk through the heights. The trails were all new to us so we took time to explore. It is easy walking with very few tree roots through the woods. Four different trails within the boundries that will make a good walk on our next visit. The drive and delays with roadwork in Duncan and Chemainus also shortened our walk as we had a time for lunch at the pub. Thank you to our drivers. Next monday is Thanksgiving Day. Most will not be walking. If anyone wishes to walk, show up at the Legion at 10 am., there may be others. On monday Oct 19th. we will walk the Mill Bay waterfront.Meet at the same time at the same place. For monday the 26th. there is a suggestion for walking the Trans Canada Trail in Glenora.   VM
