Men's Walking Group

Another beautiful day for our last walk in 2017 and lunch at the Fox & Hounds Pub.  This time up to Ladysmith and then a 6Km stroll down through Ladysmith Marina and Transfer Beach Park area.  Too many photos but these are the highlights.  --  DeNNis.

Parked conveniently close to the Fox & Hounds pub (center) and did a clockwise loop crossing the highway at the north end of town and then back via Ladysmith Marina and Transfer Beach Park.

Christmas Shopping at the Legion before getting underway.

Ladysmith lighting is all up.

"Diamond Rail Switch" operated to allow log trains to cross
over the E&N rail line.

Antique Fordson tractor.

A couple of ups and downs along the trails.

Along the old railbed.  Notice the sun shining through
the trees.

Signs of artistic interest.

An antique Boom boat.

Panoramic view of Ladysmith Marina.

Reflections.

A couple of restoration heritage boats.

Antique radio equipment.

Looking out from Transfer Beach.

Enjoying the sunshine and scenery at Transfer Beach.

We weren't the only visitors.

Shadow people heading up the road.

Under the highway - there is light at the end of the tunnel.

A lonely California Poppy all by itself.

Back where we started in time for a pub lunch.

In case we have to
call a cab.
