9 Laprobes ,5 sets of Hats and scarves,18 Hats and7 scarves to Duncan Manor and Cairnsmore Place.

Lynne Carlos, Donna Lovejoy and Deborah Radhuber representing the YSAG Quilting Group donated 44 quilts to the Cowichan Woman Against Violence Society to be distributed amongst their various programs.

CWAVS offer counseling, advocacy, emergency shelter, community development and education for women. Founded on principles of compassion, dignity, and confidentiality, they aim to support and empower women and children affected by abuse.

Here is a picture of your YSAG quilting group working on a baby blanket for the baby Christmas Campaign Toys toiletries and toques campaign. Flyer attached

At the flea market we have 2 knitted blankets to present as well. This quilt the ladies said they will have this one done for this Saturday.

NOTES FROM VIRGINIA BAUDER - Organizer, with others, of the Flea Market

Quilting made one quilt and busy hands made 2 quilts but also donated baby hats and mittens to this urgent baby Campaign for the month of June.
If anyone wants to donate, the Legion is still collecting baby essentials plus toilet paper and other personal hygiene items for the 5 food banks in need.

I have also left the donation box at the bar if anyone wants to make a case donation. Brenda from Toys Toiletries and toques will be back in to accept a cash donation at the end of the month. This is a joint effort between our two groups.
