Quilts of Valour
This Quilt of Valour Poppy Panel wall hanging will be given a place of
Honour at the Royal Canadian Legion Malahat Br. 134 Shawnigan Lake, BC.
Presented to President Isabelle Hammer by YSAG Quilter Diane Casavant-Finn
and in the presence of myself and Virginia Bauder today May 15th.
On display also at the Legion will be an up-to-date photographic record of
all members who have recently received a Quilt of Valour.

Tai Chi
Tai Chi
Tai Chi is good exercise for the body, mind & spirit. It improves your breathing, circulation, balance and strengthens your muscles. It is a very low impact exercise with slow stretching movements. It is challenging learning the movements but with patience and consistency, it is a healthy way of feeling good and it is fun. You do this for yourself and there is no competing with anyone. This class is a fun class, so come and join us. Tai Chi classes are held each Friday at: 10:00 AM - 11:00 am.

The founder of Quilt of valor from Edmonton and our mid/south island representative/presenter for QOV and a long armer from Nanaimo were guests today. A special tea was enjoyed by all. Not too much sewing done but a wealth of knowledge was shared.
