Eight walked the trails of Mill Park. In circles ? We then went to the Baytown
Restaurant for our lunch.Next monday the 6th. of Feb.we will do part of the
Trans-Canada Trail starting at the Kinsol Trestle.Leaving from the Legion
at 10 am.  V.M.

This is from our walk today in Victoria, Good 8 km walk, no rain a little wind and a Little sun . and the best was the hot food we had at the Fan Tan Cafe, I think we all enjoyed the food . 3 choices for 8.50, and good . We walked it off getting back to our cars out at the break water then back to the Legion just after 2 pm.
Next week we can try the Quarie where we have'nt walked for some time Tks C U

Next Tuesday our focus is on computers.

Womens Walking

7 walkers did about 5 K around  the church area and then returned to the
Legion for coffee.Next monday the 30th we will begin our walk from Mill Park
and cover a few trails in the area. From there we go to the Baytown
Resaurant for lunch.Meet at 10am at the Legion.   V.M.

A Mallard duck is unable to swim and is having a difficult time walking on the ice.

His mate is having the same problems.

The horses field may be smaller but he now has a lake after the snow and rain.

Men's Walking Group

Well 6 of us had a good walk of 9 k and no rain to speak of just sun & clouds .
Tks for driving Ed & Jim. We then enjoyed coffee at the Legion. Next week we plan on parking at the break water in Victoria , walking to China Town and try to get in on the end of the Chines New Year, Having lunch at the Fan Tan Cafe.We leave the Legion at 8:30 AM getting back by 2 PM .C. U.

There's possibly going to be snow during the night and will be icy in the morning which could be dangerous for driving.   I have decided to cancel tomorrow's Tai Chi, Jan 20th in both classes 9 and 10 AM .  See you next Friday.  Have a nice weekend.

Five walked 7.5 K down to Haul road and continued on to see Wendy's
llamas and alpacas.The snow began on our way back. The large snowflakes
coming down looked quite pretty as we walked through the woods.Next
monday the 23rd. we will start our walk from St Johns Church leaving the
Legion at 10 am.     V.M.
