Next Tuesday is Photography. I have found a great little tutorial that explains different ways of capuring motion. We will go through the various techniques by looking at the attached pictures.

Womens Walking

An enjoyable sixK plus walk along Wilkensen road.At times, cool and windy
so we really enjoyed the sunny spots ! ! Coffee at the Legion was most welcome.
Monday April 18th.we will meet at the Legion at 10am.and drive to Bright Angel
Park for our walk.We may see some wildflowers.   V.M.

What a great day for our walk, some one must be looking out for us. We walked the trail through the park across the road from the Legion I don't know the name of the park, anyway up to Mt Baldy road then back Silvester rd. No one gave me the mileage but I'm guessing 8 k , then back for coffee, We signed up some for the Shawnigan Walk 28 May, but our $15.00 has to be in by the end of April, If any one would like to walk with us please contact me 250 743 3107 [Denis], Next week we will be hiking Mattison Lake and having lunch at My Chosen Cafe. computer/Photography Group

Our session on April 12 will focus on computers.

First, I would like to talk about the mouse on the computer. How do we programme our Mouse(mice)? We will go to the Control Panel and see what options we have. What are the benefits of a wireless mouse? What about the touchpad on your laptop?

We will also talk about Picas, Gmail accounts and the Blog.

And, of course discuss any particular concerns or questions you have. Maybe even answers.

Legion for coffee.Next monday the 11th.we will meet at the Legion at 10am. to

Well we did our walk this am, A little rain but nothing serious, Good walk along the Mill Bay water front,Then back to Legion for our coffee and sort out some of the world problems.ha !!!! Next week a local walk and Dave do'nt bother bringing your umbrella it did'nt work to day. o-ya it was raining when we started was'nt it ha ha. Don't forget the 18th we will hike Mattison Lake with lunch out at My-chosen cafe.C.U.( Don't forget u can check all our past walks on the link above [ other links]

Both the Echo Heights and Hermits Trail were quite interesting and places we
may return to early in May. Wild flowers will be in bloom then. The hermits name
was Charlie Abbott. He worked on the property from the early 1970's till he
passed away in 1989.All the work was done by hand. Unfortunately the land
that the trails are on is now up for sale.We then went on to the Harborside
Cafe for lunch.Many thanks for driving us all,Claudia.Particularly for the scenic
tour,a lovely country drive over the back roads. Next monday April 4th. we
meet at the Legion at 10am.to choose our walk.   V.M.

Spring clean up

I would like to thank all 7 people for coming out, it was a lot of work but the place looks great & and our room nice and clean for our activities for the rest of the year,you can be proud of your selves, Thanks a lot.

Hi. all
Thanks for the pictures Ed , the water is just like a mirror on the lake.
We had some dissuasion on how many kilometers it is around the lake , but we did about 5 k except for the two Dennis's did an extra k good walk. Tks to Ed & Dave for driving, Next week we will find another local walk in the sun!!!! Tks C U
