Men's Walking Group
We were a small group today with only four walkers. Summer activities are cutting into this activity, I guess. We walked at the back of the Legion but it was a different route than usual. By going down into the valley with big trees, we ducked a few fallen trees and then ended up on Wooden Road and on to the Shawnigan/ Cobble Hill Road. The distance was about 5 km.
We have no pictures of the actual walk, but when Dennis and I came out of the Legion after our coffee, we spotted this big, very impressive moth. It was sitting right by the door, as if wanting to come in to warm up.
The first shot looks like a Stealth Bomber. I have no idea what it is. It had about a 2 to 3 inch wingspan.
