Another interesting walk--At Eves Park.We first met the caretaker who gave us
information on the care of fish and fish ponds. Then on to the Nature House
where a member and director of the parksboard gave us much information on
the many specimens and the park which is a non-funded provincial park. There
are many trails and great viewpoints from the bluffs. Thanks to Joan for
introducing us to the parks people.Next week, monday Aug. 30th.we will try
the new Kerry Village Trail, then on to Ryders for our lunch.Meet at the
Legion 9:30 am.Parking at Joyce's where we will begin our walk.  V.M.

We had a great walk along the dikes (a good repeat)Lunched in the shade of a
large tree.Dogs, dogs, and more dogs!! Quite a variety. It was nice to see the
owners down at the river to cool their dogs in the warm weather. With all the
people and many dogs,we were pleased to see the spotless, tidy grassy areas
and trails. We also visited the sewer treatment plant which was quite interesting.
It was surprising not to have any odor from this large plant in the hot weather.
The ducks thought it was a great place to swim ! Next monday the 23rd. we
will be walking at Eves Park.Bring a lunch and meet at the Legion at 9:30 am.
